Driving question

Is there a legal time limit or distance limit when driving a car before you legally have to take a break?
Or is it common sense?

How about a Company car? (so obv no tacho) (and would it make a difference if it was on company time or not)
Basically I'm trying to work out how long a challange will take me, and wondered if any restraints on driving time
Challenge is to drive to each of our 52 depots all over brtian..for a kids charity of course

It is each drivers own legal responsibility to ensure they are fit to drive. If you were to be involved in an accident and it emerged afterwards were doing some sort of endurance feat it may not look too good. And another issue is would your motor insurance cover you for something like this?

Don't want to hate but sounds like a bad idea to me.
If it's a difficult endurance challenge then you put yourself and other road users at risk when you could just wax your legs or sumfink instead.

Drive whilst tired = Careless or Dangerous driving. Not wise.

I did this for Children in need - we drove to all the police headquarters in England, Scotland, Wales but we had 4 people in the car and did shifts, petrol was sponsored by local companies and we collected money at each headquarters we went to. Very tiring even with 4 of us so doubt that you would be able to drive safely on your lonesome without lots of breaks and sleeps which makes it a very long job.

Havent set a time limit on this, but of course goes with out saying Id not put myself or other road users at risk by being silly.
Car sharing is a possibility, and seems sensible. All early days yet, just wanted to know first any restrictions. We keep this updated
Thank-you for the help so far
