At the risk of causing upset, I'm gonna Post this anyway, it'll either die, or it won't.

I was given a small donation yesterday for "any future blonde Live Update, anywhere, any time".

The money will get forgotten if I don't record it, so I'll start this thread & record who paid what, & who has the cash, etc.

If agreement cannot be reached, so be it, but I have to "place" this Donation somewhere or I'll forget it.

I owe Tighty (who will be the fund-holder) £40.

If ANY of the regulars here want to make a "pledge", I will stand as middleman & guarantor. Just post name, & amount, & it will be recorded as in the fund, & a debt to me until paid.

Note it is not necessarily for a DTD Update, it can be ANY chosen.nominated Event, though it can be. Donators will get a weighted Vote, based on what they paid.

Not sure how you want to work it, but maybe keep the OP updated as and when you receive funds from people.  Even if it's a quick edit of the OP to say 'x received from anon on x date'.  Then you've a running record of amounts and everyone knows where the update fund stands.

Yup, I intend to. If the thread dies, then at least we know where the money is, & how much.

Dtd two people 2 days is 650. Gukpt 2 people 4 days 1300 or so. Ratchet up and down according to location, length of event, numer of updaters etc

I've had a pledge from Mondy, but it's unclear how much he's pledging. He writes like what he speaks. I'm seeking clarification.

2 x DTD deepstack a month  £1300
1 x Gukpt a month               £1300       

you are going to need   £2600 a month

1 gukpt and one dtd is 2000 or so. Hence we don't do them without funding. Ukipts need doing too. I don't ask for much

It seems the problem here is probably down to sponsorship & advertising rights.
I presume Sky now sponsor the whole of blonde forum?
It would have made sense to keep the updates board free from that and let individual companies sponsor updates, dtd theres, ukipt = pokerstars ,g casino, gukpt etc etc so there adverts would run on there updates.

And then the donations on top to keep it topped up.
