Steak and chips, nothing else, certainly don't use sauce. If you need sauce on the steak, you've not got a tasty steak.
mustard is ok on a steak tho but no pepper corn sauce or something like that |

Blue cheese sauce is nice but a flavoured butter shows real skill and finesse.
Peppercorn Sc can GTFO! too overpowering.
