So I took the plunge.
I like it but it's slow. Any way I can speed it up? I'm playing with 3 leagues - is this wise or should I be playing one?
How do I stop the stupid pitch screen coming up during a game? That's really annoying.
In short I just want it to be a little quicker. Can I take some of the options off?
Finally, does anyone know any good, young, cheap players?

Only use the top divisions. ie Premier League, LaLiga Serie A etc...
change the highlights to none replays to commentary only.
BuyTevez from Corithians, Messi from Barcelona, Espositio from Calgari, Kompany from Anderlect, De Jong from Ajax, Sneijer from Ajax. Gladstone is a good central defender in time, Freddy Guarin is a good central midfieder in time,

during set up i use the huge database some people prefer the small one for speed i think it detracts from game they dont also dont use full detail on any league will speed it up vastly
during the game if you dont want the pitch choose he text only option on the hightlight drop bar on the right of the screen

btw i play 44 leagues from 20 countries and with a huge datebase and find the game runs fine

P4 3.2ghz with 1 gig ram
about 18 months old now looking for a new machine in 6 months but at present there isnt much on offer

actually when this machine gets retired it will become my spare and my P4 2.8 with 512 ram (about 40 months old) will get given to charity
