Tom or Simon to win.  But the poker gods might have other ideas.

Not entirely sure there Cos.

Blinds are now 10k/20k-2k ante. Average stack is 308,750 so expecting some action in this level.

Simon Deadman just min-rased to 40k only to find Tom Kugelstadt 3-betting to 100k. Adriano Luzzi and Jason Herbert both looked pained before folding their SB and BB respectively, but Deadman was grimacing at the 3-bet. Kugelstadt looked pretty confident and this was enough to get Deadman to fold, showing . Kugelstadt sportingly showed , saying "You must hate me 3-betting you again Simon!" Some clear history between the two, expected as both are local and that battle could have a massive dynamic on the final table.

As I type, Deadman 3-bets all in preflop...and gets it through.

Richard Whiteley shoves all in UTG +1  and is called by Ray Ryder

Whiteley -
Ryder -

whiteleys hopes were immediately dashed with coming out first the rest of the board was no help either

Whitely is left with 50k

Whiteley has REALLY tightened up folded his 20k big blind to a raise of 65k from Clark Brunton leaving him with only 1.5bbs

Richard Whiteley is OUT in 8th place, taking home £1,899.

As posted above, he called all in blind in the SB after Thomas High raised to 42k preflop. Simon Deadman in the BB got out of the way sharpish and cards were shown:

Richard: two hearts

Thomas:

The board ran out Two Diamonds to send the pot to Thomas and a short-stacked Richard to the cash desk.
