I genuinely think this is actually ok, and don't want to seem like the sturbborn brat that won't accept what all these winning players are telling me. Previously when I have had something in my head that I really believe I have posted then afterwards been like yeah they are right. I'm also way past the dont 3b fold a value hand and this was very much so player specific. Anyways he did this later on and called a 5b with kjo, sigh

I used to have it in my hand that if you 3bet folded a value hand then it was basically 72o suit. Nigdawg disagreed and I was abit arrogant and was like wtf, im right. Now I do the exact same thing and in fact think its really good in certain spots.

I did an article with Jack Ellwood in Februarys Poker Player magazine and we talk about it in a little more detail there. Its actually a pretty sick article for new/beginners/intermediate/semi advanced players so check it out innit.

Yeah thats the point, if its vs a guy that NEVER 4bets worse/ peels quite alot then tis fine, but 3betting with a valkue hand vs a reg that only 4bets/folds is  bad for obv reasons.

Sigh, I have given my reasons ITT.

He opened to 3x all the time, now he gets to LP and he mins, I expect this to either be super strong or super weak, I'd guesstimate 80% of the time it would be the latter and he would fold a huge % of the time and sometimes peel where I can own in position for rest of the hand. I felt he would never 4bet worse as he was a satalite qualifier and had a decent stack, but could def see him folding pairs/peeling and folding flops. Also I think most of his peeling range I dominate like Qx kinda hands and the ones I dont I usually win when he c/f flop
