I bet this made the ref feel really important.

Utterly ridiculous.  Where's the common sense in that decision?  The player didn't even hurt the streaker, I was expected a slide tackle or something violent.

Remind me next time that Jack Prime turns up naked at an APAT event remind me not to show him back to his room, in case I get a 1 round penalty from the TD.

I believe that violent conduct can be towards anyone - such as someone in the crowd.  But ffs, it was hardly violent and he was just helping out the fat, unfit stewards catch the bloke.  If he'd tackled him and then jumped on his head or pummelled his face in then maybe that would be violent conduct.

Ridiculous really.  I'm sure the ref would have been happy for a player to do the same if someone had run onto the pitch and started having a go at the ref.

Was it a Liverpool player a few years ago that got in trouble for throwing a coin into the crowd?

Carragher.  Someone threw it at him, and he threw it back.  Stupid thing to do and he deserved the punishment.

What was funny though that there were about half-a-dozen people who were claiming that they were injured by the coin!
