Ok, in a live cash game the other day I thought something was about to happen and it didn't but interested to know what everyone would have done had it happened....

Live £2/£5 game and its straddled, someone opens to £30 and i make it £110 otb with

Gosney peels the SB and Mitch Makes it £450 in the BB, original raiser folds

Effective stack is £2.5k~ and Laurence has about £2k

What would everyone have done here?

Just in case anyone is confused, in this hand Mitch folded I think, but he reached for many chips after Laurence called I thought he was 4balling, hence why the idea came to me...

vs Mitch im never ever folding, having said that I full expect him to peel a 5bet oop and outflop us with K6ss.

im prob most worried about the cold caller but meh, theres too much dead money now to not try and pick it up and price yourself in to having to call his shove.

Id make it £850 so Mitch is tempted to peel too wide and theoretically make a bigger decision (even tho flop 100% comes 862ss).

interested to hear others thoughts.

I like 850 too. Mitch always peels way too wide in these spots :p

Lol, desperadogmaments.

I'm usually peeling in spots where I cover both players, know 90% that OR isnt gonna 4bet, and that I win a huge pot vs players who can't hand read.

Im never peeling here vs Dave, he's too good, but if it's Alan Stearn, Florian or Ged in the hand, and were playing a gazzilon bbs, I might.

Anyway, back to this hand, that didn't happen, 5ball ftw.

it's versus the good/balanced guys that I never know what to do here, are you ever realistically 6balling without "it" (dont have to answer) but luckily I dont have to play good people at 2card poker very often so thought id take this oppo to test the water Smiley

I would have 5ball called fwiw but no idea if that's a spew or not, it's fun to play £5k pots Smiley

and sick mitch compliments ITT - got a gosney one this week as well maybe I finally made it Smiley
