London Buses. The old Routemasters. Only recently been phased out of service. Much nicer to travel on than those very long bendy things we travellers have to put up with nowadays. Not of course that I travel much on buses these days. Got me own Chauffeur to ferry me around.

Anyway I digress. Book Reviews, like those old routemasters never come in ones. This time there are two at once

Snoopy, our learned beagle, has also reviewed Lindgren's book. A popular Xmas present this year it seems

Here it is

Also up on the Home Page is a new quiz and the answers to last weeks one

http://www.blondepoker.com/

Rather excitingly this weeks winner (go on get googling) will receive a blonde poker cap and a personalised t-shirt

We have a batch load with the name "fish" made up especially

Ah, we've all played hands shockingly from time to time.

Snoopy is one of the few, if not the only, peep I've ever come across that voluntarily draws attention to his big mistakes in an attempt to better himself (or maybe he just does it to amuse us.) Either way, it is to be highly commended.

I know Dan's just joking, but I thought I'd mention this anyway as, hopefully, Snoops will inspire other peeps to do the same. I wouldn't want them to think that they'd be subject to ridicule for doing so.

Well, at least not too much ridicule anyway.

That's very kind Mr Tank and much appreciated.

I know dan and he's just yanking my chain, to which he knows that I know that he knows I don't mind. I know that cos I know he knows that I know that he knows. You know what I mean?

You make a good point tho. I spent waaaaaaaay too long brushing over my boo boos or just putting early tournament exits down to bad luck. I must have wasted a whole year playing crap poker and not even realise it.

Any ridicule's fine by me. It's all good fun. I just think of the Malibu advert. That's my inspiration. Who needs Plato or Freud when you have the guy in the Malibu advert, eh?

Once again, thx for the kind words.

Get the kind words in while you can. One of my new years resolutions will be no more incessant blowing smoke up people's asses. Cheesy

It's like, my parents know that I smoke, I know that they know I smoke.

Out of respect though I don't want them to know that I know that they know that I smoke.

I feel there's room for another new years resoltion here, but I can't quite figure out what it is. Cheesy

or... quit smoking?

Haven't decided yet.

The plan is to smoke so much tomorrow night that I won't want another fag till Valentines Day anyway.
