He has gone broke check/calling with one pair hands. He is playing about £160. Villian 2 is a new player, young, and we suspect him to have bluff shoved the river in the previous hand. He is playing £400. Hero covers.

One limper UTG, we raise to £10 from MP. Folds to villain 1 in the SB who calls, villain 2 in the BB calls, UTG calls.

Flop Pot =£40

  3 checks, Hero checks

Turn

  V1 checks, V2 bets £25, UTG folds, Hero calls, V1 raises to £50, V2 calls, Hero calls

River Pot = £190

  V1 with £96 back, thinks for a while, and shoves, V2 tanks, looks a bit frustrated with the situation but doesn't think for too long before announcing a call. Hero?

V1 looks pretty unhappy with the river card, and seemed to shove because he only had £96 left and felt he had to. We believe he has a set or strong two pair combination.

I just fold but think I probably play the turn a bit more aggressively because I want to add some fold equity into the equation especially if you are going to consider folding when the straight hits.

i dont see how we can fold getting this price and it being so much harder for V2 to have may combos of 8x. He might play lots of 2pair combinations in the same way.

yeh rele dont like that line. what are we repping when we raise the turn having checked back the flop last to act in a 4way pot? 77 or maybe 76? Seems way too thin given the bettor is a thinking player.

if we are folding, given our read of V1, we have to put V2 on some sort of 8x combo. How many of these are there that played the turn like this?

Really not a fan of trying to iso an UTG limper with A3s from MP with the world to act behind. Perfect situation to limp behind and try and get a multi-way pot with a great hand for that scenario.
