Stars $11 rebuy; 480 left out of +3500 players.  I have been reasonably active in late pos but not early pos.  In this hand I am UTG+2 with KK and raise standard 3XBB (blinds are 500-1K).  I have just won a huge showdown two hands earlier with KK vs an all in shove from QQ and am sat with 52K; average is 31K.  After my raise, they all fold to the BB who insta shoves the lot all-in for 54K.  We are 2nd and 1st in chip on the table and chip leader in tourney has 135k.  I'll be brutally honest - i am paying very little attention and have no information to give about my opponent.

I have to call right, can't pass KK here or any spot preflop? anyway I did call (immediately) and he flips AA.  We both flop a set and my quads misses! GG

thoughts?.. mine are, I fcking hate Stars!

obviously you should just call. if you raise and he repops you, you don't know where you're at.

flaming aside, think of his jam as a range of hands, it will most likely be dominated by JJ QQ AK TT AQ kind of hands and we're i great shape! Sure once in a while he finds the ACEballs but play this hand out 100 times and you'll be pretty pleased with the results.

Kings are pretty much unfoldable apart from very polarised spots, which nowadays, are becoming less and less. This is an absolute snap, as Dave said, his value range is alot wider than aces.

And as someone said earlier, raise less online... between 2x and 2.5x is pretty much standard
