Up to 87 players today, and we are playing 9 levels

Not in their seats yet: Eames, JP, Banzi etc

Steve Watts, the ex Pro footballer with a penchant for flat caps just took me aside to tell me he is absolutely certain he is going to win this. So that's recorded for posterity then

A nice one to start us off

Abhi Khaitan raises in early position to 325 at 20-100

Max Winberg flats on the button

Darco Sich ups it to 850 in the big blind

Khaitan folds

Winberg 4 bets to 3,500

Sich calls

Winberg 14,000 at the start of the hand, Sich 16,000

flop

Sich leads for 3,000 and is met with an instant shove from Winberg for 9,200 more

Sich thinks and eventually folds  face up

Winberg shows

First exit Pizzo managed to call a 5 bet shove pre with 9-9 and found himself up against Aces

Sean Sullivan was the second exit

---------------------------------------------

Steve Watts raises to 275,

Paul Rodger the London Scrap metal dealer from the English deepstack 3 bets to 700,

Steve makes the call

The flop comes 6--4--5

Steve checks, Paul bets 2,000, Steve makes the call.....

The turn comes a 7.

Steve again checks, Paul bets 3100, leaving himself 5100 behind.

Steve Watts instantly announces all in. Paul reluctantly folds his hand.

Steve shows J-3 for the straight and takes the pot.
