how? 3 from 19 is (1-((18*17*16)/(19*18*17)))*100 or (1-(16/19))*100 23 from 140 is (1-(117/140))*100 I hope |

I did: 1/19 + (18/19 * 1/18) + (18/19 * 17/18 * 1/17) (and likewise for the other)
Chance of winning on first pull is obv 1/19. Chance on winning on second pull is 18/19 (losing 1st pull) and 1/18.
etc.

Interesting.
It all depends if the tickets get put back in after a missed draw.
If not then there's a small edge to the 23 picks as I said before. If they are put back in there's an even smaller edge to the 3 picks.

Tickets do not go back in, they are discarded once drawn.
You can basically pick all your selections at once if you wish. Or pick one out individually.
All individual tickets only one has your name on it.
