villian is in every pot no matter the raise he called 3k preflop 2utg after utg shoved his J9 made a straight to get chips which he promptly lost
had called in sb previous with 64o bet called the 58a flop and called turn and river bets

am i supposed to keep pot small here or risk dbling him up if he has the king
or get out the way when he fires

I would raise more pre against a villain that is calling a lot pre.  I am also tempted to raise the flop as it is very draw heavy and he has shown before that he is willing to bet out his draws hwoever thin they are and that could quite easily be 35 or similar.  By the turn I am thinking of folding tbh.  River bet sizing is a bit weird from him.  Not sure whether he is worried about a king or because he wants a call.  By this point I think I am calling anyway though once I have called the turn.

I said could, not should Smiley

Actually I didn't realise villain's stack was a lot less than ours. I think you play it perfect tbh.

COULD also jam pre, or open 8x or just fold. or minraise each street then open muck the river.

Just cos you can, doesn't mean you should.

Would maybe raise a little bit more pre, 600 or 625 but other than that would play same. Not a lot else you can do really.
