With the roaring success of comic relief. Wombwell snooker club will be holding Hand relief night next friday, be a great night, let us know if you will be coming.

Is the Monckton Coke & Chemical Works near Wombwell still open?

That place was as near as it gets to Hell on earth, back in the day.

Wombwell was an interesting place on a Friday night, too.

Yes, I did shed-loads of CE work there down the tewars. It's was like Dante's inferno in there. How it ever survived H & S Inspections, I'll never know. The smell alone was dreadful.
