A little debate about this last night so wanted some thoughts and feedback

We're on the money bubble, blinds have just gone to 4k/8k/500, and I'm on the big blind.

Chip leader is in early position, has raised 4 hands running to 21.5k and does again. Next player raises to 41k. I'm playing 60k, look down to see  . Choice?

Pretty close, I guess sigh fold.

I dunno though. We have like 0 big blinds and AQs.

How many chips does the 3-bettor have?

Both of them had me covered.

I never usually take much time to make a decision but this one I did.

This really, really depends on how many chips everyone has got, and the payout structure of the comp. If 40k-man has only got you covered a little, I'd lean towards jamming.

Cl had about 120k from memory, raiser had about 90k.

Wasn't worried about the CL, the re-raiser was the one to think about.

The thoughts going through my mind were obviously,  has the guy reraised to just steal or does he actually have a hand?

He was relatively new to the table so didn't have any particular reads.

£30 for 13th, £640 for 1st.

I was never worried about laddering or bubbling or anything like that. Just thought this was a really good thinking spot.

is this at G manchester?

iirc it turns into a crap shoot

so there will be lots of dead money about after bubble burst
ppl play the bubble pretty tight and not willing to do moves
unless they are young

the older ppl who play there will do anything to cash including open folding at pp etc etc etc

I think shove or fold is fine tbh.  You probably don't have much (any?) fold equity but this is a low stakes tourney so you never know.

I think shove or fold is fine tbh.  You probably don't have much (any?) have absolutely no fold equity not even to someone who has no concept of poker, maths or their own name, infact they will just look at the chips and say "go on then"

It does you're right, know it well Wink

I ended up chopping 4 way and played the final table well by putting the pressure on all the stacks, and as you say, they like to ladder rather than play to win in there.

Would never have expected any fold to my shove, so the decision would be whether it was a good time to shove or not.

I think he should be calling tight (swerving 22-88 perhaps, whereas without the bubble he'll call with some of those). Whether he will or not, I don't know, I've never met the geezer.

Oh and BTW, from MC's recent blog post I'd probably be getting a purple- I've definitely taken a few flips when I'd be better off just keeping my powder dry and laddering.

I'm now regretting this post- he's raised to 40k out of 90k hasn't he, so he's not folding. I am a mug.
