From http://www.apat.com/forum/index.php?topic=8395.0

Only just had chance to catch up with the updates from the weekend and would like to thank everyone for their "good luck" and "congratulations" messages.

Thanks to the APAT Team and the staff and dealers at the Coventry G Casino for what was an exceptionally well run event. The live stream was brilliant for my friends and family who were glued to it for most of Sunday! In fact my sister's Facebook comment summed it up saying "it was awesome best tele I have watched for ages - ever in fact!".

It was a really enjoyable 2 days of poker, played in great spirits by all. The blinds structure was fantastic allowing for plenty of play on the final table. In fact I was card dead for the first 3 levels of the final and probably only played a couple of hands but the structure allowed for that. Also the revised payout structure led to a much better game on the final table imo.

I really enjoyed the see-saw heads up battle with Craig who played a great game throughout the final table and probably won 70% of the pots heads up. However, the key to my victory turned out to be winning a couple of key big pots.

This was my first ever cash in a live APAT event so I was thrilled that I was able to take it down and look forward to representing APAT in one of the upcoming UKIPT events.
