Full Tilt Espana Series Barcelona..info required?

Hi all,
Is there anybody out there who has played in one of Full Tilts Espana Series live events who could provide info about these events? I.E What is the standard like? Is it a well run tourney? Decent Structure? Gran Casino Barca, is it any good? English speaking dealers? Best hotel near the casino etc
Anything at all about this event would be appreciated guys as Full tilt dont seem to have a front man as such for these events, unlike Pokerstars who have Jon Raab to provide info.
I have qualified online for the May 20th Barca event, but Full Tilts customer service is non-existent as usual.
Cheers

Gran Casino Barca is the "marmite" venue - people either love it or hate it. Poker is good, bar & restaurant service is pretty bad by any standards. IMO, that is. They used to deal the board "backwards" for some peculiar reason.
Plenty of decent Hotels nearby, the "Arts" is smack next door, reputedly one of the World's best, though the Room Rates are eye-watering. "Princess" is OK, & much cheaper. At the other end of the scale, cheapo B & B's are in abundance at Las Ramblas. VERY dangerous area though.
If I had to give one piece of Barcelona advice, NEVER carry cash on you at night when leaving the Casino. Every year, without fail, poker players get mugged outside it, it's a highly organized operation, & very efficient. At least, that as the case until a few years ago, maybe wrong now, I suppose.
The City itself is mgnificent, a "must visit". Drains pong though.

I will be there with Barny and Ross, not sure where we are staying yet but I will be happy to let you know when I hear from Full Tilt Poker.
The events are run by David Luzago and are extrememly well run. We recently played the Madrid one and loved it. Plus if you do well in the E1500 Euro buy in event you can qualify for the E50,000 freeroll called the Masters. The Madrid Masters had 24 players in total and is a very unique event made for TV and filmed over two days. It starts with a short stack tournament, then a deepstack, then a short handed and then a heads up finale with the top 8 point scorers out of the 24 playing down to one winner.
The standard of play is slightly different to what you might be used to. You get many more limpers and people wanting to see flops in Spain. ;-)
If you need to know anything feel free to ask and I'll do my best to help.
Cheers,
Joe

Dangerous no, chances of getting pick pocketed? Very possible.
