I have to disagree and it does make a huge difference to the play in the levels so far

Entries have closed

253 in total

£4,200 overlay

Six more runners than last month, pretty creditable performance given events elsewhere...the BBP live player list in particular has 15-20 DTD regs in it

Girgy85 is out

He says he is embarrassed by it, but as I told him, "we've all played hands like knobheads, so tell me"

Girgy takes up the story

"There is a raise to 600 and this is called in three spots.

I am in the small blind with   and call

Flop is   two spades

I check. Big blind leads for 1,000

Original raiser all in for 3,300

I flat from a 12,000 stack. I should have shoved. Idiot.

The big blind re-shoves.

I call. Don't know why

Big blind has   for top pair average kicker

Original raiser has

Aces hold for the small main pot and the big blind takes the rest of mine when no spade comes"

There there Girgy, that wasn't too difficult, was it?

Late arrival into the comp

James "MC" Atkin

He is two to the right of Vinny Calenti who is up to 52,000 after his 6,500 value bet on the river of a 9-2-5-A-2 board with 5-5 was called by A-9
