Pretty deep .50/£1 live cash game. Sat with about £500 and have the table covered. Played with villain once before, is capable of bluffing, makes fairly standard one pair value bets etc. Seems fairly ABC imo, but no real reads as of yet.

Villain opens to £4 utg, folded to player 2 in the mid pos who calls, player 3 in hijack calls, I find on the cutoff and make it £26. UTG flats, player 2 folds and hijack calls.

Flop , villain donk leads for £52 with £67 back, hijack folds. Hero ??

i'd be inclined to wink at the waitress as I pushed my chips in and ordered a tanquerey and tonic.  Life simply can't get better.

I have to disagree.

I prefer doing a little disco dance first (fists clenched, move from right to left in a circular motion, with optional swaying of the hips and shoulders). Ask the player next to you beforehand to move all your chips in mid-performance for added effect.

yh we have to be all in really here, JJ/99/55/J9 are really the combo's we're losing to + I could list fkn tons of AJ/KJ/QT/T8 hands tha we're in great shape vs.

I assume he had J9 or something as you're asking the question - but dont worry too much about results here, it's obviously a fine play to jam the flop, and if you didnt win thehand you were unlucky - no place for sick live hero reads here Wink

Reading it over, it's obviously a shove. Not looking for sympathy, but I just keep losing with QQ+, figured I must be doing something wrong. Probs just the QQ tell.

The effective stacks aren't that deep here I know. Was just suggested by a couple of players when I squeezed a raise of £3.50 called by six players to £38 that I was making "an enticing bet." Guess this post was just to confirm that I'm playing with retards, and not vice versa.

Obv had J9 btw, and my first thought was to fold. Probs a confidence thing. Sorry for effective spam.

Also, in this spot, the "waitress" was a short, hairless, Filipino guy with a weird northern accent who insisted on touching me a bunch when I explained to him that OJ was orange juice...
