Help required to settle an argument I was having with a friend the other night. We were discussing the situations in which the players decide to 'run it twice'. I have never played in a game were this has happened so i was assuming the order of events regarding the burn cards. Lets say we have 2 players all in pre with  vs  , standard sequence of events is burn,flop,burn,turn,burn,river.....my argument was that the 2nd board would be dealt exactly the same, however he insists that there are no burns and the 5 cards are dealt straight off the top......someone please clarify.im pretty sure im right but its one of those were he sounded so sure i was doubting myself.apologies for wishy washy description

A Strawberry Daiquiri is my drink of choice in the casino.

And as for burn cards. yeah, you burn, but it's not like it really matters in this case.

slight hi-jack but similar Q;

when playing triple flop omaha we only burn 1 card before spreading 3 flops then burn 1 card for 3 turns etc..... is this correct?

the burn card is there so that if the top card was marked it will not affect the game surely? and as no betting is happening only 1 card is burnt.

its quite important to keep burn cards to minimum imo as it can reduce the real degen games like 6 card plo triple flop to 4 card omaha if too many players turn up.

one burn card for the 3flops, 1 for the 3turn etc is fine. i understand the importance for maximum#cards!
