The chapter in the book is even better. Loads of foreshadowing that you don't spot until it's too late. A big deal made about accepting food and wine from the hosts early on so that "you're safe", and that nagging feeling he's referred to the rubbish musicians one too many times....

Brilliant stuff.

Damn! Half tempted to read them now, despite watching the entire series.
