Seem to be quite a few things starting up again over the next few weeks.

Probably looking forward to Dexter most of all on the 30th Sept.

Also Big bang theory (27th Sept), Sons of anarchy (11th Sept) and Boardwalk Empire (16th Sept).

Hopefully these will keep me going until Falling Skies returns some time next year.

I've still got 7 seasons of 24 to watch as well so I should be ok. Jack Bauer is clearly the man.

If it's the one I think it is (and I think it might be), they should've made it the grand finale for season 3.  Watch the next one and you'll understand.

Yeh I did watch the final one and I agree.  But they seem to be keeping it in line with the books to some extent.

GoT doesn't do grande finales in the final EP. The had Ned die in ep9, the battle of black water in 9 and the red wedding in 9. It's deliberate as they want to keep the fall out (as a true character drama should) for EP 10.

   Very good!  A few proper gems in there.

Have to admit, I was one of those who said (probably more than once), "Holy shit!" whilst watching the carnage.   Plot lines are generally predictable with most shows, but I never saw that one coming. Definitely not all at once anyway.  lol

Without doubt the best thing about GOT is nobody is safe, and thats so rare in a show

One of my favorite things about it.  Not sure my action was as bad as some of these, but it was pretty shocking to watch thats for true.

I like the red vest guy. That's what I imagine my face looked like.
I think my other half will need counseling if he watches any more. He's still trying to come to terms with losing Sean Bean in series 1.

A couple of friends have read all the books and basically say don't get attached to any characters

It's worse in the show too as they've made the majority of characters more likeable for the show.

Was pleased they kept Robb/GreyWind. Didn't think they would.

The chapter in the book is even better. Loads of foreshadowing that you don't spot until it's too late. A big deal made about accepting food and wine from the hosts early on so that "you're safe", and that nagging feeling he's referred to the rubbish musicians one too many times....

Brilliant stuff.
