I call.
....there are too many clowns at 50/1 (see your mate)
and the board is too wet
results orientated analyse ftw.
it depends on the player ofc, vs loads of the 50/1 guys at dtd this is a clear fold. vs some of the younger guys who are capable of being really spazzy in this spot its a call I guess. also some of the younger guys who know to shove 57dd etc here you can call vs them too.

Sick thing is he said, so you dont have Aces or Kings while I was tanking...should have made me snap him off I guess.
As for the mates thing, we do get at eachother sometimes but not in this instance, pure stupidity on him but crap play by me too.
The night resulted in a big hole in my pocket after this too..Double FML!

How is it results orientated when I said I'd call before the results were posted and whilst everyone else was advocating a fold?
I'm just saying why I would have made the call.

Is your mate Cambridge Alex btw? If so nice rub
(nah - see "seems to do well")
haha no, but I was playing 50/1 at DTD last night, didn't see this though. Bully, have we met? Come say hi next time your down.
1) Raise more pre, this is Live, people don't like to fold. After two limps, AT LEAST £6, probs 7 or 8 given description of UTG. Btw 170bbs is not "very deep".
2) Personally, I'd flat the £19 shove. raising to 40 will get the UTG to fold a lot, whereas flatting makes him much more likely to make a big mistake overcalling.
3) As played, I fold here. Seems very likely your mate has a set/two pair and if not, he has a combo draw that yr flipping with anyway.
Cambridge Alex knows what to do at .50/1 at DTD
Also pretty funny imo if he goes up to Jason to say hi because of ur picture. "oh hi Alex, you're not as posh as I imagined... and whats that trickling down your leg?"

You lot must have some nice mates.
Me and my best mate in poker give each other sick slow rolls, look to do each other out of every possible pot, flip for $1k etc, in cash games anyway. Try not to over do it in tournies, although he did bust me out of a decent one on the 2nd hand once... my top 2 into his top n bottom. on a K54 board obv spikes his 2 outer...
Anyways, moral of the story. Raise more pre and SNAP him off on that flop.
ps Don't listen to Guy. That boy folds AA every time it gets dealt em.

never folding here 170bb's deep, and yes I've read the results so either believe that I thought call before I saw the results or dont lol
Mind you if in your opinion he isnt jamming AQ for value, which I instantly thought he would be then it makes it extremely close.
It's an interesting spot your mates in with the AQ though....I think if he has the
its an easy fold.
