Playing for an hour, general opening bet between £7-£20 for High pairs and High Aces.

New player to table, his very first hand (position UTG +1), he has posted his quid to play.

UTG calls £1
UTG +1 (New player) raises to £5
I'm next to act, I have QQ and raise to £20

Folds all the way round to new player who tanks for a bit then says 'errrr all in then' for approx £110.        No previous history for this guy but he looked quite sheepish/timid when he sat down, a bit jittery handling his chips when  laying them out etc.

So I have £20 in £64 behind ....

Do you fold, call or jam?

Errr. Foldy.... hasn't he put you all in ?

Its a fairly easy sigh call...your not giving up queens with 25% of your stack in pre...you pretty much committed yourself with the RR...GG him if he has you...reload and get him next time round

My bad, you know what I meant ;-p

Out of curiosity, would your decision to call change if you knew you wasn't re-loading?

It was a sigh call ... he had AA.

What do you think of the initial RR to £20?   Most people had £150+ behind by this stage barring myself and two others.

Had some real bad runs lately and I'm starting to doubt all my decisions.

Think the title gives a clue to what the blinds were.

Blinds were £1/£1

@ MC     I usually sit with a full stack and have enough to re-load. I'm going through a bit of a grrrrrrr stage with myself and decided to sit with just fifty to kill 30 mins befre I headed home (after a tourny). I probably should be avoiding cash altogether whilst I'm in this mindset.

Was the G

Had 3 very loose players to act behind me who had previously been raising to approx £15, and merrily calling other people's raises of £15.   My thought process was I didn't want the others behind me coming along for the ride and thought a £20 raise was just high enough to keep them out but keep initial raiser in (which suceeded in part lol) as it was ME that was raising (alarm bells for the regulars, not for this new chap).

I did think gg if he has KK or AA but was hoping it may have been one of the AK/AQ shove types that wander in from the pit.
