Continuing the theme of my PC degunge...

DTD Poker has been flagged up as being a dangerous application!!

Why is this - and is it??

All the ipoker sites flag up for me too. The virus checker would not allow them, I had to manually overide it.

It's usually because another skin has used dodgy means to install the software on PCs without their owners permission.

All skins use what is fundamentally the same software and will be picked up as such by a virus scanner.

So if skin A starts installing the software on PCs by foul means then the software will be flagged as dodgy, for that skin and for all others. If you haven't installed it yourself then you'd agree that it would be dodgy, if you did install it yourself then you don't really have much to worry about.

Your AV provider might have a database where it describes why things are dangerous or dodgy, if not just google the name it gives the virus and you should find a decent description.
