Live Cash 2-5 PLO Dealers Choice 4,5,6. Sitting with 1200ish, villain 1100 and down maybe 1.5k on the night.

I straddle for £10
Dealt AAKKJQ Double suited Hearts and Spades

UTG +1 limps
Mid position makes it £40 to play
Button calls
SB BB calls
Me Raise to £225
Original raiser calls everyone else pass

Flop
8H 9S 10D
I bet £350, call without hesitation.
I put him on trips or maybe with a wrap

Turn 7S
What's my next move?

Call without hesitation by him means I give him a chance to bet into me here...Slow down and pretend to be scared.

I think for a lil bit and then pot it.

There's a chance he'll check back a set and we'll lose money.

He could have a j high straight and call it off. He could have the same hand as us (but we want to get it in now because we do have a redraw to a bigger straight and we can't be bluffed off on bad rivers).

There's already just over 1k in the pot and we don't have a pot sized bet let's meaning he's pretty likely to call with sets etc. If he folds, that's fine too.

Was this at the vic?

P.s. What a sexy hand pre.

I do have the nut spade draw

I think about it for a short while then i put the rest in, happy if he folds.

He dwells for 5 min saying he has to call now because he's picked up a flush draw.
He's holding trip 10s with a 10 high spade draw.
Then my world falls apart as a red 9 pairs the board.

Cos this was at the broadway Birmingham. It was a sexy hand for me to straddle with but, well you know the rest.

There's some meaty PLO games pretty much every night in B'ham you should try it.

Broadway always has had the juiciest cash games. Everyone's loaded. Games play huge plus I think they still do session fees and not rake (this may have changed but last time I was there it was sessions)

U can't teach these kind of live pro tricks, what a legend.

Would never slow play in 6 card PLO, pot it, get called by a set, probably see it pair up and fold the river if u have any money left. Swear loudly about what a shit gambley game 6 card is

exactly how i would of played it. live 6 card PLO is the best game in the world.

My old regular game was amazing until some goons decided to bring in low/split games and drive all the idiots out. Went from being 5-10k on the table up for grabs to a couple of grand of nitty money. I'll never forgive them.
