40 left as we approach the end of Level 19 and the third break of the day after nine levels
blinds go 12-24k next and average is 420,000
Three more levels to play tonight
Will we make a final?
Whisper it, but I hear idle chatter of a deal already from a player or two. They wouldn't deal as early as 2 or 3 tables out surely?
Surely people with golden chip turn down a deal until final?
surely all turn a deal down with 30 odd runners left!! not just goldedn chips
lolcano @ deals
simon would ban them all and stop the tourney

Chip leader Gary Clucas is applying the pressure.
He open shoves unopened from the small blind into Kam Lee's big.
Lee has 250,000 so about 11x bb
Lee calls all in, gambling with
Clucas exclaims "HOLD" with the urgency of an Old Testmanet Prophet on Rapture day
and flips
flop
"NO TEN" Clucas implores as his hands go to his head, dramatically
Turn
river
Kam Lee out 35th and Clucas moves to a clear chip lead with over 900,000

Alan Oakley raises to 120 from 400k with KK
Ronaldo Zahiri shoves 350,000 with 99 and is of course snapped off
board 3-6-9-8-2, Ronaldo doubles to over 700,000 and Oakley's stack substantially bites the dust

Out or down to dust?
Short-stacked
Took it well, quite genuinely. Nice temperament, unlike a few others left in

Down to 3 tables
28 left
Average 550k
blinds go 20-40k in 10 minutes
Nasty level for many of these stacks

Not sure why you'd do it, but some stacks have Golden Chips on display too....

Sonia Padovani is out 28th
Short, shoved K9ss on the button and Mark James called with KQo in the big blind and held
Interestingly Sonia was using a double range merge show golden chip strategy by using her Mum's golden chip as a card marker, while not having one of her own
Sneaky, but out anyway!

Andy Pletnev doubles up through the chip rollercoaster that is Shivaan Popat
Popat opened, Pletnev shoved in the big blind and Popat called off a third of his stack with Q-10o
Pletnev had AKo, so Popat wasn't in the worst shape in the world. Pletnev held though
