If he has a flush and you called you could have played it better.
If he has the As and hit then no you couldnt have but ul he got there.
Is this what you wanted to hear?

Folding here would be a huge mistake imo
well if the guy's range is ENTIRELY flushes then calling would technically be a mistake.
obviously no1 ever folds tho.
yeh but its ridiculous to say that his range is entirely flushes. What does he do with middle or bottom set? or AsQx type hands?
Even if somehow he only has a flush here then it's not even that big of a mistake to call anyway.

its 150 to win 205 so you need to be 42% vs his range to call here.
This is given a fishy calling range pre, and just includes flushes and 66/33 and we're 46% here. So throw in any sort of As
type hands and its not even close.

No, that was probably just a typo.

Just to bring the thread back on track
OP - im pretty sure you know that this is just fairly cold, and you just wanted to check, which is fine - but if thats the case just post it up and check - no need for paragraphs
I think we should draw an end to the flaming (of which I partook) as we dont want new people not to post
(OP - i think you go the brunt of many 50p threads posted of late - UL)

Not to worried about getting flamed (I sort of expected to get told off for ROT, but I was not 100% sure thats what it was), the advice on the thread makes sense. So I probably was being results oriented but did convince myself I might have made a bad call. He had
-9s and the board was not kind enough to pair for me.
I can see that if I can narrow his range to being just a flash the call is marginal at best but I don't believe I am a good enough player to do this tbh and would be leveling myself all over the place, so probably best not worry about it. Most of the people posting on this thread would have called and they are better players than me :-)
Thanks for the advice guy's especially Alex and SuuPRlim for highlighting the hand ranges.

Jason dont apologise for what you said to Kimber to me I dont know jeff very well or have anything to do with him or care if he gets offened lol im sure he is more than capable of standing up for himself, and he isnt related to the firm afaik. lol @ worth wanking over you're a horrible man
- Welcome to the dark side Alex where we make desicions based on actual facts as opposed to blind guessing and not even knowing how to process the information we've guessed
