Down to 20 players including "The Whacker" and Mr Koumi.  Outright betting up on www.bluesq.com in the specials section as well as a few "last longer" bets.

Will try and get the Blondites group betting up today or tomorrow.

Good luck!

There are 9 players left in this now, & play has ended for the day, the final is tomorrow.

Gary Bush, sadly exited in 13th. Great effort Gary.

But we still have some local interest, indeed from the Midlands.

Because in 6th place with 110,000 chips is none other than Shargel Koumi.

You Walsall boys will know the anwser to this, as I know Shergal is a Walsall regular - but I THINK Shergal is Chicken Joe's elder brother. Can anyone confirm that?

I think it's Shar Koumi whom I believe is Joe's elder bro'.

Sharbel Koumi finished 3rd in the caribbean poker classic last December for 84k. I sat with him for a lot of day 1 and he is a fantastic player especially with a big stack. He also rolled the most amazing game of craps I have been involved in  rolling for 40 minutes- they even switched the staff on him twice. Him and bushy won a fortune as he would make a point, hit a few numbers then come out, back in then out. Good luck tomorrow, the europeans need some bracelets.

That's him Karabiner.

The Final is nicely poised, though Shar has less chips than I first thought.

Billy Big Stack is Shah Ajay with 207,000.

Bily Low Stack is Yoshitaka Oku with 50,000.

Shar Koimi has 102,000, after losing 40k right at the end.

Average stack, at a guess, is 120k-ish.

I played in the 1,500 Main Event at Walasll late last year or early this, & was going well, sat next to Shar. I found AA, & cunningly deceived Shah into putting his entite stack in pre-flop. I had trapped him a treat, he had AA too, but tikay 4-flushed it. I said "sorry fella", he grunted. We kissed later.
