was that ever in any doubt? Well not really but I expected a cover up not an admission. It's also odd that there doesn't seem to be a headline of "They did pay bribes", when they've said they did (by my understanding), from the BBC: "The action follows a charge by Mohamed Bin Hammam, his rival in next week's presidency election, that Blatter knew about alleged cash payments." |

Some real investigative journalism must have gone on there to figure that out.
Until they have a clearout, like the IOC had, surely noone can take FIFA seriously?
Makes me wonder why big Western nations are still members of FIFA though.

I wouldn't get your hopes up that anything will change as a result of this.
The whole world has known for years that FIFA is corrupt and that Blatter, as it's long standing head, is knee deep within it. Nothiing has ever been done about this.
If he's guilty he'll probably get an increased majority and a mandate to serve for the next 50 years.
