Sometimes when I open threads on this site now I get popups stopped by the browser popup blocker and which I have not allowed so I don't know what they are. Is this kosher as I can never remember this happening on this site previously?

It just happened opening the "Anyone use an electric shaver?" thread.  It also happened a few days ago.

Any chance you have pm's and the pop up was a message to let you know you have them?  I've mine set to give a pop up message if a private message comes in.

No, I don't think I have had a pm since foxyamy in 2006 LOL.  I was logged out at the time anyway.
