Min-raiseFTW Huh?

Only had 27 hands on villain, playing 29/23 or something similar.

Is the play up to this point OK? Plan was to call the turn and check-call a river-bet.
Should I be donking that turn ever? or even raising the flop?
Opinions on what I should be doing after being raised on this river?
I bet 80% pot, looks a tiny bit bluffy + gets max value from Jx or lower Ax's.

I don't think he's bluffing here often. Likely anything he checks on the turn has showdown value at the very least and there shouldn't be any A's in his range that you beat, so i'm leaning toward a river fold with the raise. Betting smaller otr too

Do you think there are villains you would call here or even shove for value against? obv shoving here is terrible against a general villain. Seems like a spot where calling it off without thinking is a standard play for a lot of people. I folded, but do you think this is super-standard? or too nitty to be always betting and folding to a raise here?

If you are betting smaller on the river, does this turn a raise from the villain into a call? or if you lead for $18 and he makes it $55 are you still folding?

You said your plan was to check call the river but you bet 80% of pot into him and got raised???

I would be check calling like you have all the way through the hand on the river.

Now, I think it's a fold, you cant beat much.

Plan was to call turn call river IF he bets the turn, he checked behind on the turn, so plan changed to leading quite large for value (vs Jx, Ax PPs) and folding to a raise. Cant really check first to act on this river given its gone check check on the turn, surely?
