Ok I have just moved tables as a result of a rebalance.  I have played 4 hands at the table playing 0/0, the big stack is playing 50/0 over 4 hands (sick sample) and as I have not played with him during the tourney i have little knowledge of table dynamics at this stage.

There are 12/900 left, there is 2.5 million in play and Villain has about 30% of chips in play at the beginning of the hand

Tournament #399175956, $4.00+$0.40 USD Hold'em No Limit - Level XXVIII (3500/7000) -

Table '399175956 38' 9-max Seat #8 is the button

Seat 3: badhaircut (153276 in chips)   (22 ish bb)
Seat 5: dooter317 (119925 in chips)

badhaircut: posts the ante 875
dooter317: posts the ante 875
serg800: posts the ante 875
OMGitsMihai: posts the ante 875

dooter317: folds
serg800: calls 14560
OMGitsMihai: folds
74bebe: folds
KIRIPOP: calls 7560

*** FLOP *** [ two spades]
KIRIPOP: checks
badhaircut: bets 17301
serg800: calls 17301
KIRIPOP: folds

*** TURN *** [ two spades] []

(Pot: $87 032,00)

(Effective Stacks of 120kish)

My plan was to lead shove the flop - Howeer as the big stack peels here on a 6 turn card what is our best play?

Is a 1.3x pot shove spew, or is it best for us to lead call here? - but if we do we are only left with an 80k barrell which is about 45% of the pot on the river if he peels and we miss.

I haven't really played as much MTT's for a while so apoligies if this seems like a simple spot - but I am confused with the lack of information at hand what is our best play

It's an easy bet/call. Can't ever see myself folding in this spot. He's nearly always got 2 overs in this spot and I expect a fold a large % of the time.

45ish with the intention to call any shove.

Having checked the hand again I don't love your flop bet sizing. Prefer to make it 28k, then on turn pot is roughly 1:1 and we can make an easy turn shove.

i shove, i don't like any bet sizing if a blank river comes, you have a lot of equity if you get called by 55-88

How bad is c/ring AI on turn?

He may well bet/fold a bunch, and by c/ring we give ourselves a chance to take the initiative with some FE, and if we get a call we have equity v pretty much all of his range. Also, if he checks back he can still hit a bunch of cards that help us, and if a totally blank river comes we can go c/f or c/c depending on how we range him on river.

Also, betting flop and checking turn just looks crazy weak, and given the BI of the MTT I think villain is likely to spazz/fold a bunch on turn.
