Also Hatton is nowhere near Calzaghe's class because he was knocked out multiple times.

Hmm, This is a level right? Hatton lost two fights to the best two pound for pound boxers!

I'm tempted to take some of the 3/1 Froch unless any experts reckon I'd be foolish to do so.

I'm going to get on Froch by stoppage.
Sometimes doesn't do a lot early on while sizing up opponents and as his technique doesn't look great can gift early rounds. Might be tempted to get on IR if he goes bigger and doesn't actually look in danger.

No expert though - must make that clear

Wouldn't put you off.  It is a hard fight to price but I expected them to go 1/2 Ward tbh but I am very bioased as I love Froch as a fighter.

That is my thinking really. Ward is going to get the fight of his life with Froch.

Froch will 100% go for the KO imo, no way will he want to leave it to the judges and he very much has a stand and bang style anyways. I will be on a Froch stoppage and probs every even round (my standard bet) I have been stung in the past with patriotic bets. But fvck it. Smash him Carlos. Getting really excited for this!

Thought Ward came across really well in that little promo vid whereas Froch not so much. I'll still be betting on Froch though and I guess I'll have to get on some mid/late rounds as well nor Millidonk has put the idea in my head Cheesy

Did you not see my great escape on Sunday over in the NFL thread where I snatched victory from the jaws of defeat with the last play of the game?

No doubt Calzaghe is generally underrated by the general public that were brought up on Eubank, Benn etc but he is generally recognised by the general public inthe same way Ricky Hatton was.  Froch is a world class fighter in that tradition, competing against the best every fight and cannot even get a broadcaster to take his fights in this country (until Saturday).  Froch could walk down Oxford Street and most people wouldn't know who he was.  as for a price for Ward to knock him out....I'll lay 3-1 to a hundred quid which I think is fair for a fighter likely to be 1/2 to win the fight.

can get 7/1 Ward to win by KO, TKO or Disqual.
