Not sure which day to play the WSOP ME, so looking for other peopls thoughts.

Traditionally the Sunday was always though to be the softest day, as the online grinders would be playing their usual Sunday schedules, but obv now thats not the case.  Originally I thought that 1B looked good, but maybe 1D as then if I do the unlikey and make it to day 2, I won't have to wait and will be able to keep the momentum?

Only day I am sure that I don't wanna play is 1A, other than that, go go go.

TY.

I've chose day 1D. Two reasons:

- its Saturday, so all the noobs not wanting to take time off work will likely play it, also the people there for the weekend.

-  i get there on tues, Day 1a is Weds (i believe) and there is a Venetian deepstack on the weds i wna play.

not sure if good or bad thinking, but meh, probably doesnt matter

One word of warning, if you do want to play the later days then apply early to get your seat.

I played last year and planned to buy in for 1D once I arrived, a few days ahead of the tournament.  By that time, they were only allowing people to buy in for Day 1A as most people to date had bought in for days 1C and 1D and they were trying to even up the numbers across the 4 days.

From that point on you had to wait for late registration to close on Day 1A before they opened up Day 1B for 24hrs, and so on.  Consequently, if you wanted Day 1D you had to wait until the last minute to buy-in and no-one was quite sure at the time how big the queues would be and whether or not it would be over-subscribed on the day.  It worked out OK in the end, but there was a lot of uncertainty leading upto it.

Consequently, when you do decide, I'd suggest using the option to advance book before the deadline for this expires (about 2 wks before, from memory).

From recollection day1D has a lot of the "name pros" in it because they are too lazy/stuck in cash games to play in the earlier flights.

Tbh doubt it will make much difference, just go for the day that best suits your schedule.

Forget which network site it was , Day 1D was allocated for WSOP online Sat winners as well (it may have been ipoker?).

He will be paid in direct, via wire transfer to the cage, as soon as he decides which day to play, but certainly no later than the middle of this week, so no worries on that score, Curtis.

Behave......

In fact, we are kind of hoping he plays Day 1d - though it's his choice - as so far, we have 2 entered on 1a, 2 on 1b, 2 on 1c, & just one (Thewy, I think) on 1d, so it would balance up nicely.

Up to Ryan, though, he can choose as he wishes.

Have been torn between 1b and 1d since Claire sent me the list.

I flipped for it.  Heads 1b, tails 1d.

Heads won.
