I've been pissing about playing abit of PLO recently on Poker Encore (ipoker) mainly as low as .25/50 and some .5/1 £ $ and € and want a few pointers. Pretty sure i'm not very gd at the game tbh. I know this is only a small sample etc (5.5k) but can anyone guide me and explain some of the stuff in the graph/stats below. I'm mainly a tourn donk and never really bother with HEM much when playing nlh but recently purchased it for PLO. Help! Smiley You will need your glasses to read the stats, sry.

3-bet in position a lot more mate. Ppl are so bad at playing flops in 3-bet pots at those stakes.

Firstly, the sample is small so any advice could be terrible, but your stats seem to be following the trend of a slightly inexperienced player.

Its reasonably common to see a negative non-showdown line at small stakes PLO, but when there is a big a gulf as your here I would say instinctively you aren't value betting well enough, which is actually a pretty hard thing to master at PLO, but as you start to get a better feel for ranges in more marginal spots you'll soon get the hang I reckon.

Like Cos says DEFO 3bet more and DEFO IP, avoid 3betting nearly anything none SUPER PREMIUM OOP until you're more confident post imo, when picking which hands to 3bet look at the PRF from position stats, people I really like to pick on our people who open a similar high % UTG as the do MP cos when you 3bet an open from UTG a lot of people who dont pay full attention give you credit for AA and don't 4bet. also anyone with a high % PFR and a super tight 4bet range I like to 3bet a lot as well - hands I like to 3bet these guys with are AK** hands and Broadway hands - tend to steer clear of lower rundowns vs people with a high PFR as they peel with dominating stuff too often.

Also people with a high fold to 3bet are good to 3bet with anything that flops well

if you dont have it, id defo get odds oracle (can download it from pro poker tools) and run different types of hands vs types of preflop range really easily and you soon find really good hands to 3bet in good spots.

my only other slight comment would be to either increase your PFR slightly or just drop your VPIP a touch, I think at this stage peeling a few LESS hands might be more advisable and concentrate on playing pots with initiative a bot more, the chances are you are peeling with bad hands or calling a touch too wide from the blinds atm.

I've signed up to a 7 day free trial on deucescracked and am currently watching a series called 2 x 6.  The first 2 episodes are really good for basic theory and might be worth a watch.

The videos cover some superb stuff about fundamental differences between NLH and PLO.

The second vid in the series highlighted a common mistake with 3betting oop which was really interesting to watch, it explained better than I can about why we 3bet in NLH and why we do it in PLO etc.
