I don't think Hellmuth is the greatest player in the world, in fact technically some of the stuff he has been seen doing in NLHE is downright awful.
But I don't see how any of the doubters (of which I was one) cant admit that he is better, even if only slightly, than they thought after this years efforts at the WSOP - heads up 3 times in non holdem events, over 1 mill in winnings, going to win the POY race.
I am minded to quote Caesar:
