Hi all, just wanted to get the second opinion on the following hand - thanks in advance:

Scenario:
£220 buy in live tourney/flight B - 4 hours in and 40 players left out of starting 80. 4 more levels to go before the game breaks for day 2.
Avg chip stack is 30k, I'm on 24k after posting the big blind.

Blinds:
1k/500 and 100 antes - 9 handed table.

The hand:
The guy in the cutoff limps, small blind just calls and I check with my two hearts .

The flop comes: Two Diamonds

Small blind checks and I bet out - 2k. The cutoff guys min raises to 4k, whereas small blind folds.

Additional info on a cutoff player: loose/fishy...called 4bet all in earlier on with A7 and 3bet 2 solid players with KQ just to call reraise all in on flop with a gutshot! However he has never min raised before.

Action is back on me....how do you proceed? What do you put him on?

What's his stack size?

If he covers I'm flatting to see a turn card and then checking in order to see what he does.

Against villian described i'd like to get him to put all his chips in with Jx. If he's tarping with a better hand gg but it's unlikely, you'll be good here a lot more than you won't for sure Smiley

He has the option to check pre...which is what he does.

My apologies!

If we jam the flop it's a pretty huge over raise, 4k > 22ish. Do we expect villain to always call off?

Are we never worried about his min-raise too? Most live donks only tend to minraise with hands they want to get value from...

"it" might be AA or AJ thou in villains head. We could just raise commit but i dont mind the jam when playing live

Yeah, guess it could be a slow played AA from villain etc. I definitely am getting it in, just wondered if jamming 4k > 22k is the best way.

Just get them in and no we are not worried about the min raise because we have two pair perfectly disguised and are just over 20bb deep in a comp that gets fairly crapshooty from here.
