Yes but unless you are stars or charge huge reg fees you are not running a comp if you need to hire all the kit are you?

I think DTD has shown that, staying within the law, a poker only venue cannot be profitable.

Tighty...I heard that the Scottish apat is being held in the merchant city gala..is this true?.....possibly the worst venue we have up here....no space....hope I'm wrong....

Yes but not with the existing space only. They are hosting for 120 players, with extra tables added elsewhere at the venue

Have done 8ish events in Scotland since 2006. It really is very poorly served for those wishing to host third party events. Either casino management doesn't want to host you miss and/or a lot of the facilities aren't geared up to run the tournaments to the standard expected. So we aree trying somewhere new


It is no wonder the UKIPT went outside casinos for a venue.

The alea is a smart venue...n could hold 150 with a little tinkering on one floor....
