True. I guess that blokes especially have a thing about not wanting things put up their arse for obvious reasons, unless they are that way inclined   Cool

It's not a male exclusive feeling.  I didn't exactly jump for joy either.

Sigh.  Eejits who read a medical report, know something's not right, but can't be arsed to pick up the phone.  Could have been told earlier in the week and sorted without hassle.  They didn't.  Now it'll be delayed with ages due to the bank holiday week-end.  Marv

Alzheimer's disease .......and why the hospitals say my grandpa can't have the "better" medicine because it's too expensive.

Would you believe that sometimes Docs tell me they can't be arsed switching to the stuff I sell, even though its cheaper and exactly the same as more expensive stuff.

No idea about the Alzeimers stuff mate, but some can be pretty expensive. I sell some stuff that is nearly a grand a month and the patient needs to take it every other month. ie 6k per year.

Medicine goes from a few pence up to tens of thousand per year.

You have also got to remember that something that is 'better' may not be that much better in reality and cost a disproportionate amount more than its worth.
