Work colleague of mine was killed a few years back by a shed tyre from a lorry coming the opposite way along the motorway. It bounced over the central reservation and hit her windscreen flush on and she was killed instantly. |

(If you'd been going 85mph, you wouldn't have had to brake) True enough..but it would have meant going in to work today, whereas now I could spend 4 hours sitting on the motorway waiting to give my statement..and I got a day off work as the motorway stayed closed for ages so now get to spend the rest of the week catching up on my work. |
