Sunshine!!!

Sunshine sucks when you're stuck indoors working, BUT tomorrow afternoon is booked off - foldable BBQ looked out, drive away up a valley near me, lovely little wood by the river, hammock slung between the trees, BBQ on, steak, and possibly a spatchcocked chicken, a trout if I can remember how to guddle one...... and relax.....Will make me happy anyway.

Two mahoooosive trout just delivered to ours by a neighbour who was out fishing today.  Just about to gut the pair of 'em and cook one.  Would have given you the other if ya weren't so far away.

I'm not a big fish eater, but I'm sure someone would have eaten it. Would only be guddling for showing off purposes Wink

Take the other one - put it on a rack in a metal tin, put some sawdust in the bottom of the tin, put lid on/seal with tinfoil - put tealight candle under the tin - smoked trout for tomorrow. Been told you can do it with tealeaves as well.

Hammock fail - (forgot the treehuggers) but a beautiful day spent by the river. Trout jumping, yellow wagtails, ravens croaking in the distance.... A hell of a lot better than working!

He'd just stolen that from a smaller, sicker child. Terrible.

Haha! I bat at number 8. I'm basically never incentivised to go for it. I have a slow girl ahead and bad girl behind. I have perfected the low drill 2 base hit as I am a team player!

However yesterday was a rarity as I ended up opening an innings and we were already beat. So I opened the shoulders and put it out the park. Was fun!
