Pretty much sums up the ranking system.
England may have one of the best Leagues in the World but their International team is on par with the likes of Greece and Denmark for what they have achieved.

(Plenty are just ridic IMO but it's still fun to ask) I don't have one that is the most incorrect but from glancing at the list it seems very Euro biased. I'd say we're 10-15 places wrong. Like you say Croatia and Norway are 8 and 11 but fail to get to the tournament where the best 32 teams in the world compete. How many European teams get to the world cup? Does it depend on where it's held? Must be around 12. So not even the Euro bias explains it. |

If there was worldwide qualification for the world cup, you would have over 20 Euro qualifiers each time imo. Every ranking list should be Euro bias.

Agreed. Maybe should have emphasised the "very". From last world cup - Quarter finalists Brazil are worse than last 16 England? Quarter finalists Argentina are worse than out in the groups Italy? Semi finalists Uruguay are worse than France who went out in the group......that was topped by Uruguay? |
