a few chip counts as I head out to the battle zone again

Eso Kral 20,00

Cambridge Alex 18,000

Pizzicato Kev 18,000

Skippy 25,000

James MC Atkin 25,000

83 of 115 are left as we approach Level 6

Average is 21,000

George2Loose would be one of the chip leaders with over 35,000

Shaun King is probably the chip leader with c40,000

How? (it's a fair question)

On a Q-J-J flop he had A-J versus Andrew Tuxworth's K-J

Ace on the turn. A third player passed K-10 on the river to bet and raise in front of him

Shaun then got Aces and Ace-King back to back, and made further progress

Richard Blacklock opens and is flatted

Alex Goulder 3 bets

Blacklock shoves for 10k total

Bravely, Alex does not ask for a count and calls with A-A

Blacklock A-Q

Alex holds, knocks Blacklock out and goes to nearly 50,000

David Pizzicato Montague is out, tried a 4 bet shove against Shaun King. It didn't work.

King then found Aces again, modest action

He is clear chip leader with about 70,000

------------------------------------------------

Kenny Prazer 3 bet an Alex Goulder open, and was shoved on. He folded A-10 off meekly. Goulder up over 50,000

------------------------------------------------

George Bedi has doubled up a short-stacked Peter Evans. Bedi down under 25,000

-------------------------------------------------

Greg Hill opened, was 3 bet by Darren Jarvis and called

they saw a flop of

check, bet, call

check, bet, call

check, big bet by Jarvis

Hill folds

Jarvis shows

Ex-footballer Scott Eustace.

Who?

Well Scott a central defender played one game for Leicester City as a 19yo in 1993. I saw it. Recognised him today too. He was chuffed, if slightly disbelieving..

I am a geek.

Scott went on to play for Mansfield and Cambridge before retiring at 33yo
