I am going to have to try another reboot. The lag on this network is making it virtually unusable. Just as well its the graveyard shift, need to sort it before tomorrow afternoon

A Round with Chuckles

14     1     Adrian Swingler 16,000
14    2    Andrew Hulme 16,000
14    4    Jack Allen 25,000
14    5    Nicholas Crisp 23,000
14    6    James Moult 9,000
14    7    Michael Wernick 17,000
14    8    Rupinder Bedi 29,000
14    9    David Barnes 13,000

blinds are 100-200

Hand 1, button seat 8

Moult limps
Wernick limps
Bedi, deciding not to tilt or whinge, limps the button
Barnes completes

Swindler, sorry Swingler, 1,200 in the big blind

Moult re-raises all in

Bedi lets out a belly laugh and chuckles to himself for 30 seconds or so

Swingler passes showing

Moult shows

Bedi laughs some more

Hand 2 button seat 9

Passed to Swingler in the small blind, he raises to 1200.

Stato 1 passes.

Swingler shows  .

Nice 6x raise sir

Hand 3 button seat 1

Wernick makes it 600
Bedi calls
Barnes calls
Allen calls in the big

checked to Wernick he fires 2,400. All pass. Even George.

Hand 4 button seat 2

Bedi makes it 475. Swingler calls

Crisp in the big blind calls

All check

  check, Bedi 700. Both call

  check, Bedi 1,300. Both fold

Hand 5 button seat 4

Bedi raises to 475, all fold

Hulme enquires of me "How many more hands this round for me to do something?" "Three", I reply

Hand 6 button seat 5

Bedi raises to 475

Barnes, Hulme, Crisp, Moult and Wernick all call

Image, see.

I ask the dealer if I can call. I get a dirty look

All check

Wernick leads for 1,500

Folded to Crisp on the button he makes his annual 3 bet to 4,500

Wernick folds

Crisp says he has an eight. The clues were there

Hand 7 button seat 6

Swingler limps, Moult, Wernick and Bedi limp/complete/check

check check Moult to 400, both call

all check

Bedi leads 800, both fold

and with that, the table broke

Mickey Wernick playing four hands out of seven....go on admit it you make these up don't you?

Ask Fraser how his new job as marketing exec with Dtd is going. I noticed a lot of SATS ain't been getting enough players to run this week. Job must pay well tho coz fun4fraser has been re buying for fun.

Been meaning to ask you tighty, do you think the players on Friday are having a bit more of a gamble due to the re entry coz some of the play seems shocking and people's stacks seem to rollercoaster an awful lot

Good old Fraser

I spent a year for blonde trying to get people to play on DTD's software

He comes up to me tonight and tells me, produdly wearing a DTD badge with his name on it, that he is now part of the promotions team and getting online sign ups etc

and handed me about 30 embossed business cards to hand out for him!!!

50 of 113 left tonight

Many of these 113 I think are rebuy candidates, and I think DTD would be delighted with this turn out

Might save them a sizeable overlay tomorrow. I seem to remember about 25 of the 70 last month from the Friday re-entered.

I don't, to answer Jason's question, see much difference in the play on re-entry night.

Chip leader?

David"Skippy" Craigon

Always had Skippy pegged as a rock. Good read?

He raised  on the button and was called in the big blind

flop

big blind check raised a 3,000 c-bet to 8,000. Skippy calls

turn a brick  two hearts

big blind checks. Skippy sets him in for his last 20,000

big blind makes a nicely judged call with

river

Skippy up over 100,000

Fraser is a diamond and I rate him highly as a player and person.
Have you ever played one of these tighty. Never having seen you play i would think you would be pretty confident of making day 2 at least?
Do you agree with me that about my assessment of 90% of the field?
Is that anon who won or came 5th?

5th Anon

I last played one of these about 2 years ago. Made day 2 comfortably, then button 10-10 into bb A-A and out

I model my game on you Jason. In fact I pre-empted you.

Break time then

I would go out for some fresh air, but Barry Neville is out there and I am bound to get asked to look in his boot

Instead, here are the pre-break exits

I expect with three levels to play tonight we'll bring about 2 tables back for Sunday from 1a

47     Richard Chamberlain
48    John Perrin
49    Hamid Rowshanaei
50    Ann Tran-dinh
51    Michael Wernick (yes the round with tighty was accurate. Frisky tonight was Lord Wernick)
52    Farhad Mirfakhrai
53    Anonymous
54    Jamil Akhter
55    Elaine Cockburn
56    Paul Rayner
57    Matt Russell (never got going from what I saw)
