This isn't a hand played by me obv as I'm not there but a friend of mine.

I don't know the outcome, all i have is the action pasted below but I will post the outcome once he has divulged said info.

I just spent 90 mins in the line to part with 10k and finally sit part way through level 2. Blinds are 100-200 and we are only on our seventh hand.

Look down on the button at  . Hijack raises to 550 cutoff calls and we make it 2200 to go. Sb insta calls as do the other two. Not ideal but there we go...

Flop looks pretty solid. Chk chk and we bet 4400. Sb insta calls hijack folds and cutoff makes it 12400.

We have 30k and no information.

To me with very little knowledge of the table and the action I'm pretty much ditching this without much thought as it's hard to assign any hands we beat into the raiser's range.

We have the flush redraw against sets and against flopped flushes our equity is even less. I'm guessing Lil' Dave is the one who would best be able to evaluate all the numbers best but am I wrong for thinking this isn't even that big a fold this early in the tourney?

I think it is a fairly easy fold.  C/R is a pretty horrible way to play anything that isn't a flush and if we are up against at least one flush and something like AxQh we don't have very many outs at all, certainly not enough to make a call profitable.    I much prefer to check here.  Very few turns are horrible for us and we have the benefit of position and can keep the pot small.

Fold

Pretty optimistic to give CO a bluffing range and we're in pretty bad shape vs his value range of sets and flushes. I'd expect him to flat and re-evaluate turn with K9/89/KxQh

He just posted the results

'I tanked for 5 mins and consider the situation and decide that folding is my only option.

The sb calls and the turn is two hearts, check check and the river is . Cutoff bets 6k and sb looks sick and folds.'
