Tim Slater, adorned in "Wolf Pack Poker" badges, which I must confess I have never heard of, takes us back to the days of Nik Kershaw, Kajagoogoo and Howard Jones with streaked blonde hair

Hmmm.

Andy Johnson raises pre

Anon who isn't a usual Anon but looks like Howard Marks the author and ex drug dealer, but isn't, calls

Tim Slater in the big blind calls

flop J-10-9

Checked to Johnson who bets 2,000 a PSB

Anon Howard calls

Slater calls

turn 4, putting two hearts on the board

Checked to Johnson who bets 3,000. Both call

All three playing 15-20k at 100-200

river 8

Slater open shoves 7,000

Johnson isn't happy, must be fearing K-Q, but eventually is all in himself with Q-10 for the straight

Anon then makes the most extraordinary overcall for his stack, calling all in with 9-9. Flopped set but must be vulnerable to that wet river

Slater has 8-8 for rivered trips

Johnson knocks two out then to become chip leader with over 50,000

The board reads  two hearts

Fangzhao Liu bets 4,200 into 3,500 from the small blind into Chris Bruce

Bruce, with a lilting Scottish voice softened by years down south enquires

"you are a lucky boy aren't you? You have a 5-6 type hand and you've got there"

"I can't see you betting that much on a bluff'

" how many have you got left?"

Liu shows his stack, which is about 25,000

"hmm" continues Bruce "still got plenty left if you do lose though"

"go on then lets have a look"

He tosses in a 5,000 chip

Liu nonchalantly reveals  which is, unsurprisingly, good
