hope this happens and although tranmeres team i feel is fairly poor, chesterfields form on the road from last season suggests this will be a draw, especially when coupled with their preseason - which wasnt great... deffo a good shot at 12/5 imo!

First week always tough. I've gone for combo of new stadia, mangagers etc.

I fancy Forest, Brighton, Swindon plus Charlton and Huddersfield

Brighton main bet; sizeable double with Forest and then some perms

Barnsley look too big 2mo at 3.4 home to a newly promted side. Overreaction to Saints win last week. Tykes will do well this yr.

Boro -1 @ 9/1 could be worth a go at our gaff. Our defence looks in total disarray. Emnes looked in sparkling form with a hat trick in midweek.

Cardiff could be a lay on Sunday. 1.75 & I didn't think they looked gr8 v West Ham. Can 4give Bristol City 1 loss with some exciting plyrs.

I'm not quite sure which side will turn up tomorrow.  If it's the performance vs Forest then I agree with you.  If it's anything like Tuesday vs Morecambe then we'll get battered.

I looked at it, dithered a lot and then decided I couldn't pull the trigger.

Hope you're right though Smiley

Where is this price mate?  It is definite value.  I went last week and I am still not convinced by Emnes.  He is very lightweight and doesn't hold the ball up that well because of it but he is clearly full of confidence and finally coming into his own but this Boro team were much better than I expected last week v Pompey and will always score goals.  They have scored 40 goals in their last 21 games and have vital players like Williams back now but are conceding a lot of goals still and look a bit dodgy at the back.  I make it 13.85% so 9/1 is pretty good value.  I also think 5/2 with VC is decent value outright and so is 9/1 or so any unquoted scoreline on BF.  Bates is rumoured to be getting a move to Bolton so if he misses the speculative bets on scores like 3-3/4-3/6/3 to eaxch team may be worth a look.

Thanks for your thoughts.

I still want Leeds to win obviously but will be decent consolation if Boro win by a couple or more.
