Played this the other day.

not sure where to start with this hand, from c/c flop, to c/r turn, to b/f flop - could easy have misplayed each street.

what do we think

PUKE SIGHHHHHHH ETC ETC ETC.

Good fold, like the line. He never does it as bluff because if he only has one ace then you can have AK a LOT and he obv gets snapped. Just big sigh.

I think it's fine Dave. What do you think of c-raising flop?

Once you call flop I don't really ever expect him to double barrel any bluffs or lone aces (obv unless another ace hits when I'd expect him to bet Axxx).

It's sick that we have quad kings and i expect our hand to best less than 0.5% of the time.

yh i think c.r flop is a godo way to rep a king less, if that makes sense? if there wasn't an ACE on board I think c/r would be the best play for sure. I can't work out if the Ace being on board makes it more or less credible as a value line, instinctivley I'd say it would make it look less like a bluff, but then I shouldn't really be raising any naked K***'s so perhaps it makes it more bluffy?

but then, this isn't a very good spot to bluff really

nah you can only see their hand if it goes to showdown.

While curiosity is a big flaw of mine, i 100% fold here.

i dont like the flop c/c or the turn c/r because its the deep table.

C/r here looks so absurdly strong that sometimes if he doesn't have AA then he may rep them or AK levelling himself that you would never play AA or AK this strong, i would imagine the flat call screams strength to most these guys and your not going to make much from Axxx or air once u do so.

I cant imagine anyone bluffing this turn with a c/r or so in theory he should fold any hand you beat which is why i dont like it- even if he calls turn the chances of calling river are slim. Also your line looks like kxxx on the turn so why not let him go with this read and over value an ace on the river or try to rep an ace.

both the river barrel and fold is obv fine imo.

I quite like polarizing our range on the turn. However, if he knows we're decent then we arent really gonna be polarizing our bluffs to quads/air. Do like bet folding river

Must remember to reply to ged's post as there's a few things I disagree with in it.
